7 Things the Angels of Christmas Want You to Know
I have been working with the Angels of Christmas for over a decade. I always look forward to the Christmas season, and I am ready and willing to work with their energies.
Year-by-year their messages of peace and love deepen my resolve to not only honor them but to also share their loving messages with others throughout the year.
Who Are the Angels of Christmas?
Angelic lore tells us that the Angels of Christmas have a special mission to encourage mankind throughout each generation. Their messages have been passed forward throughout the millennia. And so, each age and each era has something new, beautiful, and unique to pass forward to continue to help heal the planet.
Traditionally Archangel Gabriel is often referred to as the Angel of Christmas; giving Mary the good news that she would bear a son who would bridge the gap between God and man.
However, in accounts written in the book of Luke, which is a chapter in the Christian New Testament, it is recorded that a multitude of angels appeared to shepherds in the field, announcing the birth of Christ, and sharing with the shepherds the divine mission of Christ on earth.
The account tells of the shepherds making their way to Bethlehem to see the newborn babe, sharing the angelic messages they received about the Christ child as they went, thus heralding man’s first contact with the Angels of Christmas.
7 Loving Messages the Angels of Christmas Want to Share With the World
- We are watching every activity and want to awaken you to improve your conduct, and thus avoid being on the karmic “naughty” list.
- We are here to remind you of the spiritual realm. There is more to you than what you gauge with your five senses. You have the depth and ability beyond what you currently perceive, and you need to develop and maintain the connection with that Higher Power.
- There are powerful, unseen agents all around you to protect and help you in times of need. You activate our help by simply asking for it.
- We are here to remind you to always seek the best in yourself and others, whether or not someone is watching. Integrity is a virtue you should practice at all times.
- The attributes of unconditional love, peace, goodwill and the spirit of giving are to be shared not only in the Christmas season but throughout the year.
- You can act as emissaries of the Angels of Christmas by helping, and giving to others without expectation of receiving anything in return as often as you can.
- We are here to remind you to “lighten up” in your life and have some fun! Laughter is like the Healing Balm of Gilead and is beautiful to us. It soothes and heals even the hardest of hearts.

How to Work the Angels of Christmas
Working with the Angels of Christmas is not only fun but also rewarding. And it’s easy too! The only thing you need is the willingness to spread peace and love wherever you go.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Give of your time and resources to those in need.
- Send prayers of healing and love to those around you; especially strangers.
- Live from an attitude of gratitude.
- Don’t engage in gossip.
- Endeavored to speak only loving, and encouraging words.
Of course, there are tons of other ways you can brighten someone’s day or lighten their load. Loving words and random acts of kindness are not only memorable to the recipient but also creates a wave of joy that is contagious.

How to Create a Christmas Angel Box
A fun tradition my family started several years ago was honoring the spirit of the Angels of Christmas with a Christmas Angel box.
On December 1st of each year we take out our Christmas Angel box and fill it with herbs associated with the Yuletide Season, as well as with the names of friends, family, and coworkers with whom we would like to bestow all the blessings of The Angels of Christmas – love, peace, joy, prosperity, and vibrant health.
Each time we place names in the box we recite the following prayer: “Christmas Angels full of holiday cheer, bless [name of person] with peace and love, throughout the upcoming year.”
Then on New Year’s Eve, we gather the herbs and the names that we placed in the box and burn them as we recite this prayer: “Infinite Love and Light, may these fragrant herbs be pleasing in your sight. Receive these names I love so dear, and bless each one throughout the New Year. And so it is! Amen.”
