The truth is that your home is your sacred refuge. It is your private space to laugh, love, work, and rest.
Sometimes your refuge can leave you feeling restless. The cause behind this could be any one of a number of variables… life changes, losses, gains, new adventures, or simply a complete change in living space (new home).

Archangel Four Corners Home Blessing
I am always looking for ways to combine the protective energies of the Archangels along with the energies of herbs and oils. The Archangel Four Corners Home Blessing was inspired by Afura Fareed, of www.AfuraFareed.com.
You can find the ingredients you need for this beautiful prayer rite from either your own kitchen pantry, or from your local grocery: salt for purity, lavender for peace, sage for protection, rice for abundance, four glass jars, and one white candle (optional).
My version adds two tablespoons of each of the dry ingredients listed above into each of the four glass jars or containers, placing the jars in the four corners of your home after reciting a simple prayer of invocation. Afura said that she used clean pasta sauce jars, but any jar or container will work just fine.
“To take it a step further, I like to infuse the herbs with my power of intent by running my fingers through them as I repeat (in thought, or aloud) a mantra of abundance and purity.” Says Afura.
After placing all the dry ingredients inside your jars, light a white candle (optional) and ask God and the Archangels to bless the ingredients with Infinite Love and the Light of Spirit, and then recite the following prayer:
“Archangels of the North, South, East, and West,
Keep our home protected and blessed.
Lavender for peace and tranquility;
Sea salt for mental clarity;
Sage for protection and security;
Rice for abundance and prosperity.
May the energy of our home stay fresh and clear,
As we continue to prosper here.”
Next place the containers in the north, south, east, and west corners of your house. You can either replace the lids on the jars, cover them with decorative mesh fabric so that you can enjoy the lovely fragrance, or leave the jars open.
Important – Make sure your herbal jars are in an area that is protected from children and pets.
